
T. Cody Swift is the Executive Director of the Riverstyx Foundation and a member of the Advisory Board at the NYU Center for Psychedelic Medicine. A philanthropist and psychotherapist, he earned his MA in Existential-Phenomenological Psychology, and has been a consistent and prominent supporter of psychedelic therapy research and drug policy reform. He has served as a facilitator of psychedelic sessions on research studies at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Consciousness Studies, and has been involved in qualitative research documenting participants’ experiences with different psychedelic medicines. Through the Riverstyx Foundation, he has also worked to support indigenous communities in the conservation of their sacred plant medicines, as with the Native American Church in the preservation of peyote.
